This activity provides on-demand archived lectures from the SRH SCI Lecture Series 2024-2025. The SRH SCI Lecture Series 2024-2025 will help close the practice gap by equipping attendees with the knowledge, frameworks, and skills to best serve populations with spinal cord injury. Preparing lectures is an excellent way to educate oneself on a topic.

Target Audience
This activity is intended for physicians with specialties of PMR.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:
- Describe 3-4 different organ systems affected by spinal cord injury and their attendant complications.
- Define activities of daily living (ADLs) and how they might be affect by paralysis.
- Compare mobility impairment in paraplegia versus tetraplegia.
- Recognize the role of bias in health care access for persons with spinal cord injury.
- List 2-3 resources available at a community level for individuals with spinal cord injury experiencing challenges.
