HSCT Graft vs Host Disease (GVHD)

There is a knowledge deficit in the pathophysiology, morbidity, mortality, and treatment options associated with GVHD. Gaps in knowledge can lead to slower recognition, treatment, and advocacy for this patient population. Since immunosuppression is currently the mainstay of treatment these patients are at increased risk for infection and other secondary complications from acute and chronic GVH.
