Leading with DE&I in Healthcare is designed for leaders within Partners to reflect on DE&I and develop skills for consciously integrating these critical concepts into the workplace. While this training is a full-day, it is not an exhaustive look at the numerous aspects of DE&I. Instead, it is setting a baseline standard and intentional action planning for how participants can address DE&I within their team, department, institution, or system as a whole.
This activity is intended for senior leaders & director level staff across the MGB system.
Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:
- Recognize how Diversity and Inclusion improves business performance and supports Mass General Brigham’s mission and values
- Define diversity, equity and inclusion for MGB
- Increase your knowledge about how unconscious bias can shape your work environment through attitudes, behaviors, and decisions
- Understand and commit to your role and responsibility as a leader in valuing and leveraging diversity
