NeuroRestorative's 7th Annual Medical Directors Conference 2026

NeuroRestorative operates neurorehabilitation and residential programs for patients with stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, and other neurologic diagnoses. The 7th annual Medical Directors Conference is designed to bring together Medical Directors and other health care team members from across the country to address problems/issues commonly seen among NeuroRestorative patients. 

Target Audience

This activity is intended for physicians, nurses, and other members of NeuroRestorative’ s healthcare teams located across the country with specialties in rehabilitation medicine, brain injury rehabilitation, and medically complex comorbidities -- for both adults and pediatric populations.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  1. Summarize the evidence for the chronic effects of brain injury and the efficacy of post-hospital interdisciplinary neurorehabilitation programs.
  2. Identify psychopharmacologic strategies for managing mood and substance use disorders.
  3. Describe the spectrum of treatment options for spasticity that can be provided by various rehabilitation team members.
  4. Describe how artificial intelligence can be used to enhance neurorehabilitation.
  5. Distinguish awareness, insight, and denial as seen in a neurorehabilitation setting.
  6. Identify lifestyle approaches to improving cognitive function and preventing cognitive decline with aging.
