Description
The Mass General Department of Radiology Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee is committed to addressing disparities and enhancing equity in local communities. We have created radiology specific initiatives to ensure we do everything possible to address COVID-19 with community health as our foundation. We strive to continuously meet the needs of our diverse and multilingual.
Target Audience
This activity is intended for Radiologists, other medical staff and trainees.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:
- Discuss current topics of interest in racial and gender diversity as it relates to radiology and medicine
- Inform staff of departmental and institutional resources that can help improve diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Review new societal recommendations regarding diversity, equity, and inclusion
- Highlight the accomplishments of hospital staff working in the DE&I space.
