Nabeel Alqsous, MD

Nabeel earned his medical degree in 2012 from the University of Jordan. He did his internal medicine residency at Unity Hospital in Rochester New York. He attended Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia where did a fellowship in Pulmonary & Critical care medicine.

He is employed at Penobscot Respiratory, in Bangor. Nabeel is board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care Medicine.

Jen Gibbs, RN, BSN, CCRN

Jen has been a nurse for over 13 years and is currently the Clinical Nurse Educator in the intensive and pediatric intensive care units at Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor. She received her bachelor’s in nursing degree from Rivier College in Nashua, NH.

She has worked in several different specialties all around the country as a travel nurse for pediatric and adult patients. She has worked bedside at eastern Maine in the ICU since 2014; and in early 2020 took on the challenge of the clinical educator role.

What she likes best about her clinical educator position is helping new ICU RN’s get acclimated to their role and watching them grow as professionals as they accomplish their career goals; and serving as a mentor when they face struggles.

When not at work, Jen loves to be outdoors in the mountains. She wishes it would snow year-round so she could ski. She loves spending time with her husband and her 10-month-old daughter.
