ESSENTIALS OF IDENTIFYING AND TREATING SEPSIS
The Essentials of Identifying and Treating Sepsis is the first in a series of three webinars identified by nurses at two organizations in northern Maine in a needs assessment conducted by ANA Maine. In a first of its kind partnership model, together ANA Maine and the Lunder-Dineen Health Education Alliance of Maine are collaborating to develop and provide these webinars to nurses at these organizations as part of a pilot. Following participation in these modules, nurses will be asked for feedback that will inform the future dissemination of these educational products.
Hospital based Nurses in Maine treat incidents of sepsis in their patients as a complication resulting from a primary diagnosis.
