DESCRIPTION:

This lecture series provides cutting edge updates on topics of clinical importance to local specialists in the fields of Allergy and Immunology as well as specialists in the field of Pulmonary Medicine, ENT and Dermatology from the local teaching hospitals in Boston as well as the surrounding communities. The audience also includes fellows in training in allergy and immunology, Pulmonary Medicine and ENT. By selecting speakers of national renown and addressing a spectrum of topics, this series is a major educational event in the monthly academic calendar in Boston.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

1. Discuss what is known about Environmental Exposures in the community that can be a Source of Disparities and Social Determinants of Health
2. Discuss what environmental interventions may improve asthma.
3. Identify novel precision-based strategies towards treatment and prevention.

TARGET AUDIENCE:

This activity is intended for all academic and community based allergists, pulmonologists, ENT specialists, dermatologists, fellows in training, and nurses. It is targeted to the greater Boston and Eastern Massachusetts area.
