Care Records of Massachusetts General Hospital – Clinicopathological Conference
This is a clinicopathology conference. This is a medical clinical exercise where the history of a patient's illness is presented to an experienced clinician for discussion in a didactic setting. The main purpose of the CPC is to explore a differential diagnosis suggested by key information in the case.
Target Audience
This activity is intended for the interprofessional team. The clinicopathology conferences will be sourced from multiple departments within the hospital, utilizing the interprofessional care team in presentation of case/patient history.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:
- Apply clinical reasoning and decision-making skills in real-life scenarios.
- Describe the importance of accurate diagnosis and treatment in managing complex clinical cases.
- Detect improvement to patient care and outcomes through collaboration with the healthcare team.
