Workplace violence is currently on the rise. This course will define the problem and present two tools to employ to identify and mitigate aggressive behavior.

- Discuss the Joint Commission (TJC) requirements and the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) memorandum regarding workplace violence.
- Assess the utility of the Aggressive Behavior Risk Assessment Tool (ABRAT) and Violent Event Severity Tool (VEST) Formulate the potential applications of ABRAT and VEST.
