DESCRIPTION:

This lecture series provides cutting edge updates on topics of clinical importance to local specialists in the fields of Allergy and Immunology as well as specialists in the field of Pulmonary Medicine, ENT and Dermatology from the local teaching hospitals in Boston as well as the surrounding communities. The audience also includes fellows in training in allergy and immunology, Pulmonary Medicine and ENT. By selecting speakers of national renown and addressing a spectrum of topics, this series is a major educational event in the monthly academic calendar in Boston.


LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  1. Differentiate between the benefits of biologics and non-biologics in the management of eosinophilic esophagitis.
  2. Differentiate between the potential side effects of biologics and non-biologics in the management of eosinophilic esophagitis.
  3. Manage eosinophilic esophagitis based on the recent evidence.
