2026 Department of Medicine Teaching Faculty Retreat
The 2026 Spring Department of Medicine Teaching Faculty Retreat is a half-day faculty development workshop focused on supporting skill development among teaching faculty. Through a mixture of large group and small group activities, we will explore important concepts, skills and collaboration that influence our teaching practice. The design of this workshop aims to facilitate collaboration among faculty as well as a community building as educators.
Target Audience
This activity is intended for attending physicians who are faculty within the Department of Medicine.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:
- Recognize the behaviors and impact of perfectionism within clinical medical education.
- Discuss ways to support trainees and teams navigate perfectionism behaviors.
- Identify opportunities to connect with trainees for reflection, feedback, and role-modeling.
