A conversation with a Massachusetts Child Psychiatry Access Program (MCPAP) 
Psychiatrist or subject matter expert on a variety of behavioral health topics. The goal of MCPAP is to increase access to behavioral health treatment by making child psychiatry services – a scarce resource – available to PCPs across the Commonwealth. Through these conversations we seek to improve clinicians comfort and competency treating mild to moderate behavioral health disorders and address barriers in knowledge. MCPAP hosts a series of nine webinars throughout the year, which usually take place September through June, except December.

Target Audience

This activity is intended for pediatric and family providers.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  1. Review how a child is diagnosed with needing special education services.
  2. Discuss the timeline of a child being evaluated for services.
  3. Identify & learn more about the typical services for different disabilities.
