Center of Expertise in Global and Community Health: Application for the Global Health Symposium - AY2425 - March 2025

Join us for a 1/2 day of exploring Health Equity. Directed by COE leaders Alexander Tsai and Lisa Cosimi, the course will kick off with keynote speaker Marcella Alsan, MD, PhD. She is an American physician and economist at Harvard Kennedy School known for her works in the field of health inequality and development economics. Her talk will be followed by 2 thematic breakouts: the first one will extend the conversation about health equity and the second will focus on building a career. After we wrap up the day, we will gather for a short reception and networking opportunity.

The course will take place on March 18th from 11:45am - 4:00pm with a reception following until 5:30pm.

Applications will be accepted until March 1, 2025 at 8am ET (that is 8 in the morning!).  
Only complete applications will be considered for this course.  

A complete application includes the application + paying the nonrefundable $30.

It is the trainee's responsibility to ensure that their application is complete. It is also the trainees responsibility to talk to their PD about the intent to participate in the course. We will reach out to your PD to confirm that you have coverage for the course. 

You should only apply if you will be able to attend the course in its entirety and can submit payment for $30 at the time of submitting your application. 

The $30 includes lunch, the 1/2 day course and a post course reception.
