The Care Advancement Network Lab and Healthcare: The Journal have partnered to coordinate discussions regarding care delivery innovations in the ambulatory setting.  To do so, we are hosting a series of roundtable discussions to feature best practices and expertise from healthcare professionals across the country. This session will focus on translating research to population health practice. Specifically, it will focus on practical strategies to improve outreach, decision-making and follow-up of primary care-based cancer screening.

Target Audience

This activity is intended for practicing clinicians & clinical leaders.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to: 

  1. Identify how novel technologies can be used to enhance cancer screening
  2. Describe how decision aids can enhance cancer screening decisions
  3. Apply evidence regarding follow-up strategies for cancer screening
