Description
Lecture 7 will help audiences identify ways of utilizing value-based healthcare methods in virtual or telehealth care environments. Real-world examples from the Massachusetts General Hospital Center of TeleHealth and Virtual Care division.
Target Audience
Healthcare professionals and staff including providers (faculty, residents, fellows, and advanced practice providers), nurses, and research staff with involvement or interest in improving health care systems
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:
- Identify how to use value-based health care methods to address health inequalities related to:
- Telemedicine
- Racial, Ethnic, and Language Minority patient populations
- Sexual and Gender Minority patient populations
- Clinical Research Trials
