Description
This activity provides on-demand archived lectures from the SRH Lifestyle Medicine Journal Club 2024-2025 series. The Journal Club will allow the opportunity for an expert in the field of lifestyle medicine to share a current article researching one or more of the pillars of lifestyle medicine. The facilitator will review the details of the article and open the discussion as well as invite questions. The discussion will allow participants to share their thoughts and understanding about the article as well as share data and conclusions from other studies with which participants are familiar.

Target Audience
This activity is intended for Physicians, medical students, residents, fellows with specialties of PMR, Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Endocrinology, Oncology, Anesthesiology, ENT, surgery, pediatrics, and Family Medicine.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:
- Describe the latest research in exercise, nutrition, sleep, stress resilience, social connection and avoidance of risky substances.
- Discuss how to best counsel patients with individualized plans regarding exercise, nutrition, sleep, stress resilience, social connection, and avoidance of risky behaviors in a clinical setting.
- Review the outcomes measures in the research literature for lifestyle medicine topics.
- Compare how the media presents findings in research studies and what the researchers report in the original papers.
