ForwardMCPAP's Clinical Conversations 2026-2027
This is a live, virtual activity.
MCPAP hosts a series of nine webinars throughout the year, which usually take place September – June, except December. It is an hour-long conversation with a MCPAP Psychiatrist or subject matter expert on different behavioral health topics of interest to pediatric primary care clinicians.
Target Audience
This activity is intended for physicians, nurse practitioners, psychologists & social workers.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:
- Describe & provide integrated conceptual models of each evidence-based behavioral therapy / skill set training combined with medication approaches for the same diagnosis / symptoms / skill set deficit.
- Accomplish this by improving each set of clinicians’ understanding of the work done by their colleagues and how they can invest and supplements each other’s work.
- Demonstrate this by having experts in each disorder and treatment present webinar discussions together.
- Identify more highly integrated approaches that include CBT for depression, anxiety, and OCD; Social pragmatic training and sensory integration techniques for high functioning autism; Applied behavioral analysis (ABA) for more severe autism spectrum disorders; etc, and how these can best be integrated with medications and interventional psychiatry Rx.
