ForwardMGB Intervening with Civility & Professionalism
This course teaches you how to recognize and respond to problems that happen between coworkers, so everyone can work together in a respectful and professional way.
Target Audience
This activity is intended for all Mass General Brigham employees.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:
- Identify when repeated behaviors between coworkers make someone feel left out, ignored, or uncomfortable—even if no one meant to hurt anyone. (Identify Patterns in Workplace Interactions)
- Practice ways to speak up or take action when you see or experience something that isn’t fair or kind, helping to keep the workplace positive. (Respond Respectfully in the Moment)
- Illustrate how to apologize and fix things when someone has been hurt by workplace interactions, so trust and teamwork can grow. (Repair and Restore Trust)
- Identify how small, respectful actions—like giving credit, listening, and including others—can make the workplace better for everyone. (Build Healthy Work Relationships)
