Module 9: Developing an Asthma Action Plan

The asthma action plan is a culmination of asthma education and provides an opportunity for teaching about recognizing asthma attacks and implementing early treatment escalation.  We will emphasize the ready availability of action plan forms in multiple languages and in low-literacy formats.  Sample completed asthma action plans will be discussed.

This activity is intended for nurses, physician assistants, pharmacists, and other advanced practitioners.
