NeuroRestorative Annual Medical Director Conference 2023 - Live

This live conference brought together Medical Directors at all NeuroRestorative facilities. It will address three areas of clinical practice that are among those confronted by NeuroRestorative Medical Directors: Spasticity among patients with traumatic brain injury, stroke, and other neurologic disorders & Stem Cells in the Treatment of CNS disorders and Paroxysmal sympathetic hyperactivity (PSH) after traumatic brain injury and other brain disorders in children and adults.

Target Audience

This activity is intended for Medical Directors (MDs, DOs), psychologists (PhDs, PsyDs), and nurse practitioners (NPs) who practice at NeuroRestorative facilities in 28 states across the United States.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  1. List the indications for cryoneurolysis for the treatment of spasticity.
  2. Summarize the current state-of-the-science of stem cell treatment for CNS disorders.
  3. List medications that can be used to treat paroxysmal sympathetic hyperactivity in pediatric patients.
  4. Describe the pharmacologic approach to depression following brain injury.
