This training will demonstrate to providers what the Pre-Visit Clinical Review Service is and what the benefits are to both providers and patients. The training will specifically focus on utilizing the tool in Epic (a curated HCC Best Practice Advisory – BPA) and what the benefits are of interacting with this tool.

Target Audience

This activity is intended for NWPHO Primary Care Providers (MDs and APPs) in practices that are part of the Pre-Visit Clinical Review Service expansion.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Discuss risk capture and HCC coding.
  • Locate the BPA within the health record.
  • Use the BPA to add diagnoses into the Visit Diagnosis and Problem List.
