Obstetrical Neurology 2022
To educate physicians, nurse practitioners, midwives and advanced practice providers on issues where the fields of Neurology and Obstetrics intersect. This one day long course will feature speakers from multiple disciplines including Neurology, Obstetrics, Anesthesia, Neuroradiology and Neuro Oncology. Subjects covered include Preeclampsia/Eclampsia, Headache management, Epilepsy, Multiple Sclerosis, Neuro-oncology, Stroke, Transgender considerations, and Neurologic complications of Obstetrical Anesthesia
Target Audience
This activity is intended for Neurology faculty, neurology residents, neurology advanced care providers, obstetrical attendings, obstetrical residents, midwives, obstetrical advanced care providers and obstetrical anesthesia faculty.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:
- Assess and identify neurologic emergencies in pregnancy
- Interpret and analyze ethical issues that can arise during pregnancy
