WALK IN INSTRUCTIONS:

WHAT: Reimagining Care: Where Clinical Insight Meets Digital Innovation
WHERE: Encore Boston Harbor, 1 Broadway, Everett, MA 02149, Room: Picasso 1
WHEN: Monday, September 15, 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

•    Your registration badge will be available at the main World Medical Innovation Forum registration table upon your arrival. If you are doing walk-in registration, you will need to go to the same desk and request walk-in registration. You will need to verify your status as an alumni of a Mass General Brigham training program.

•    If you choose to arrive earlier, your admission also includes access to a special pre-event presentation with Senator Susan Collins, Chair of the Senate Appropriations Committee, scheduled from 9:00 - 9:45 a.m. 

•    If you are not registered for the World Medical Innovation Form, you will be expected to leave the convention area immediately following our program. Your name badge will have an identifier that will not grant you access to other sessions after noon on Monday, September 15. You are welcome to register for the Forum on-site at the main registration table. If you are an alumnus, don't forget to use the alumni discount code, which can be found on the Alumni Network or previous emails sent by the MGBAA. 

•    You will need to provide a photo ID at registration to receive a wristband that will signify to security that you have shown ID. 
 


 

As healthcare continues to evolve, so does the need for seamless integration between clinical expertise and digital systems. Join Rebecca G. Mishuris, MD, MPH, MS, Chief Medical Information Officer and Vice President; Adam Landman, MD, MS, MIS, MHS, Chief Information Officer and Senior Vice President, Digital; and Shawn Murphy, MD, PhD, Chief Research Information Officer and Associate Director, Lab of Computer Science as they discuss the future of medicine; from the grounding realities of patient care to the intersection of technology.

This free session is coordinated by the MGB Alumni Association and will occur in-person before the official start of the World Innovation Forum, September 15–17, 2025, Encore Boston Harbor, 1 Broadway, Everett, MA 02149. Brunch/Lunch will be provided.

Target Audience

This activity is intended for all Mass General Brigham Alumni.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  1. Describe how clinical care and digital innovation are converging to shape the future of healthcare.
  2. Summarize emerging technologies, the evolving role of health informatics, and practical insights on how digital tools are being used to improve patient care and streamline medical workflows.
