Virtual Orientation for Shared Decision-Making
Massachusetts General Hospital is transitioning to a new shared decision-making model. This educational opportunity introduces the principles of shared decision-making, conflict management, leadership skills, and the incorporation of SBAR, SWOT, and SMART tools into practice.

Nurses, health professionals, leadership, and support staff
Learning Objectives
At the end of this activity, the participant will be able to:
1.Identify the principles behind shared decision-making
2.Identify strategies to promote leadership, clinician, and support staff voices in key decisions about practice and quality of work-life
3.Describe how to appropriately incorporate SBAR, SWOT, and SMART tools into practice
4.Discuss conflict management strategies
