Description

This virtual seminar will discuss the importance of considering gender-based violence (GBV) in the context of water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) planning and interventions.


Learning Objectives

Upon completion, participants will be able to: 

  • Identify the relationships between WASH and GBV.
  • Discuss planning of WASH programs and strategies for GBV prevention.

Target Audience

This training is intended for all professionals and students who are currently working or are interested in the fields of global health, humanitarian aid, and disaster relief operations. All participants will have an interest in learning about gender-based violence and developing strategies to address this complex issue in their current or future work and practice.
