A conception framework of functional gastrointestinal illness, management strategies, with application of the shared decision-making model
Learning Objectives:
Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:
Understand what the clinical underpinnings of the often-misunderstood term “functional” gastrointestinal disease
Highlight pharmacotherapy targeting functional gastrointestinal disease as well as other treatment approach
Develop scripts in which to broach diagnoses of functional gastrointestinal disease and reduce stigma of diagnosis and treatment.
