Teen Wellbeing: Building Resilience, Strengthening the Self and Healthy Relationships, and Managing Stress

Statistics highlight the prevalance of mental health illness in our youth.  It identifies that 1 in 4 people will have a psychiatric disorder at any given time, that 75% of all mental health conditions appear before age 25 ,and 50% before age 14; finally, suicide is the 2nd leading cause of death among people ages 10-24. The team needs the most recent up to date treatment modalities and interventions to assess and managing this patient population. This course is intended to provide the team strategies for identifying, assessing, and managing patients mental health issues in our youth while promoting resiliency and healthy relationship.
