Motivate: Oral Health Education Program
Welcome to the MOTIVATE program learning modules.
The mission of the MOTIVATE program is to improve, promote and protect the oral and overall health of Maine residents residing in long term care. The program is designed to ensure that each member of the health care team is able to contribute to meeting the oral health needs of residents within their care, in an efficient, effective and resident centered manner.
Throughout the MOTIVATE program, you will learn each member of the health care team plays an important role in evaluating, planning, promoting and providing high quality oral health care for residents. As members of the health care team, the people we care for and their families trust all team members to provide high quality care. In order to meet the needs of the people who entrust their care to us, it’s important for all team members to stay current on best practices and continue to learn and further develop.
The program has three parts –
