DESCRIPTION
This one hour online presentation will explore how researchers have embraced novel diagnostic criteria for Alzheimer's disease in recent years. These symptoms and biomarkers have made their way to clinical trials, and may soon be recommended in the clinic. This lecture focuses on recent findings in the early detection and diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease, as well as information on upcoming Phase III clinical trials that aim to prevent Alzheimer’s disease before the classic symptomatic stages.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:
- Explain the Alzheimer's disease (AD) disease trajectory.
- Describe emergent diagnostic criteria for AD.
- Discuss recent and upcoming clinical trials focused on the prevention of AD.

This program is intended for Physicians and other clinical staff at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital.
