Description: 

Join us for an engaging presentation where participants will walk through the process of receiving patient comments, and how principles of positive psychology, the growth mindset, and reflective practice can be supportive by identifying opportunities for growth and learning. After an introduction where a framework is provided, real patient comments and patient experience results will be used as examples of how clinicians can use this process in real time. There will be opportunities for Q&A, as well as an overview of future workshops on this topic.


Learning Objectives: 

Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  1. Identify principles of positive psychology and the growth mindset that can be applied to the patient experience process.
  2. Identify strategies that can be used to support growth and learning after reviewing patient comments and patient experience results.
  3. Examine a framework for reflective practice and how it might be applied to your experience

Target Audience: 

This activity is intended for all Massachusetts General Hospital clinicians interested in learning tactics and best practices for patient experience related discussions
