Adult Primary Care Dermatology & Skin Toolkit
This module is an overview of triaging and treating common pediatric primary care dermatology conditions.
Target Audience
This activity is intended for Physicians, Nurses, and Physician Assistants across the Mass General Brigham system.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:
- Develop a general approach to rashes and skin growths through physical examination and history-taking
- Use the Primary Care SkinRx toolbox with knowledge of some common dermatologic medications
- Recognize and treat/triage common primary care conditions
- Identify venous stasis dermatitis, psoriasis and seborrheic dermatitis, dermatophyte infection, skin lesions (benign and malignant)
