Colorectal Cancer in Africa 2025: Pathology Track
Pathology Track
This is a hybrid program hosted as a one-day webinar and one week in-person session focused on raising awareness about colorectal cancer in Africa. Colorectal cancer – the second leading cause of cancer mortality globally – is preventable with screening and surveillance tools, and most high-income countries have well-established prevention and early detection programs. However most African countries lack structured screening colorectal cancer screening protocols and guidelines, resulting in incomplete epidemiologic data and many preventable cancer cases and deaths.
