This bystander education course will provide employees with an understanding of how interpersonal racism continues to support and maintain systemic racism. Through scenario-based learning, participants will develop skills for recognizing racial bias and confronting discrimination. An overview of related Human Resources policies and practices will be given to support employees in actively dismantling racism within Mass General Brigham.

Employees who take the "Ending Racism: Everyone's Responsibility" course will get an understanding of how structural racism is exacerbated by interpersonal racism.
Identifying actions or comments that unfairly target individuals based on race.
Understanding how racism can create tension, hurt morale, and divide teams.
Encouraging open conversations and creating policies that support fair treatment for everyone.

Excellent content with sharing different perspectives
Good content throughout the video. Such variable scenarios allowing for deeper understanding of the importance putting yourself in others shoes. Such negative behaviors can really impact not only the individual at stake, interdisciplinary practice but also patient care. I find this video very resourceful and feel more educated for how to handle such situations.
