Description
Zoom Link: https://partners.zoom.us/j/84066328940
Peer Support is “emotional first aid” for hospital staff involved in patient related adverse events and stressful situations. The support is provided by Peer Supporters, who are fellow colleagues in similar roles. Peer Supporters are specifically trained to provide empathetic and non-judgmental listening, coping skills, and support resources. Peer Support is strictly confidential and designed to provide peer review protection.
This course will train staff who have been nominated as Peer Supporters to proficiently support their colleagues through difficult patient related adverse events, medical errors, or stressful situations.
