Description

This activity provides on-demand archived lectures from the SRH Brain Injury Medicine Lecture Series 2024-2025 series. The SRH Brain Injury Medicine Lecture Series is focused on educating the Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital (SRH)/ Harvard Medical School (HMS) Brain Injury Medicine (BIM) fellows as well as the physicians who are members of the SRH/HMS Brain Injury Division who are experts in brain injury rehabilitation.  Interested SRH/HMS Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) residents, rotating medical students, SRH Brain Injury Division psychologists, and Spaulding Rehabilitation Network (SRN) physicians and therapists often attend as well.

Target Audience

This activity is intended for physicians, psychologists, neuropsychologists, therapists (PT, OT, SLP) and nurses with specialties of PM&R and Neurology.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  1. Describe the pathophysiology of various conditions commonly seen in Brain Injury Medicine practice.
  2. Review the evidence for or against various interventions for the treatment of conditions commonly seen in Brain Injury Medicine practice.
  3. Assess the effect that research has had on various aspects of the care of patients with brain injury.
