Her & Now’s mission is to strengthen clinician knowledge and comfort with providing menopause and midlife care to women living with HIV.

Her & Now integrates the lived experiences and perspectives of women with HIV with clinician expertise to create a comprehensive, multidisciplinary curriculum and resources.

Her & Now’s 6-part webinar series provides education on the following multidisciplinary topics:

• September 11, 2026: HIV and Menopause | 12:30pm - 2:00pm
• October 9, 2026: Menopause Symptoms and Conditions | 12:30pm - 2:00pm 
• November 6, 2026: Cardiovascular Health in Menopause | 12:30pm - 2:00pm
• January 15, 2027: Metabolic Health in Menopause | 12:30pm - 2:00pm
• February 12, 2027: Bone Health and Frailty | 12:30pm - 2:00pm
• March 12, 2027: Midlife Women’s Wellbeing and Advocacy | 12:30pm - 2:00pm

Learning Objectives:

Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

• Identify symptoms and co-morbidities that intensify during the menopause transition.
• Understand the unique challenges faced by women living with HIV during midlife.
• Implement evidence-based management strategies for caring for women with HIV to optimize care throughout midlife.
• Develop strategies that promote interprofessional collaboration  and learning opportunities within and across teams to optimize menopause management for women living with HIV.

Social Workers
As a Jointly Accredited Organization, Mass General Brigham is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved under this program. State and provincial regulatory boards have the final authority to determine whether an individual course may be accepted for continuing education credit. Mass General Brigham maintains responsibility for this course. Social workers completing this course receive 9 continuing education credits.
