Course Description
The landscape of hospital rating and rankings is continuously expanding and evolving. Today, numerous organizations publish hospital rankings and ratings, each using their own methodology and often varying in results.
Please join us as we compare and contrast methodologies used by organizations including U.S. News & World Report, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (Star rating), and the Leapfrog Group (Safety Score), to name a few.
Participants will learn how to meaningfully interpret results to identify areas to focus improvement efforts when possible

Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

- Describe the various methodologies used in such quality measurement including common limitations
- Explain how best to interpret results
