A “MEMO” is a 10-minute educational module that delivers clear, concise, relevant information to the learner using a computer, tablet, or mobile-phone for easy access.
Sickle Cell Disease is an inherited life-threatening disease which affects 100,000 Americans and is mostly seen in the black and brown population. Many healthcare teams have not cared for this patient population. Since the care is complex and more patients are being hospitalized, it is important to provide education to the team which includes the specific therapy and treatment.
