DESCRIPTION

This one hour online presentation will be provide background on mobile health and some of the trends of mobile device use over time. We will also review examples of current applications available in the general market. Lessons learned by app developers and barriers to developing and use of mobile health.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

1. Understand the utility and need for mobile health in rehabilitation medicine.
2. Be able to conceptualize examples of mobile health applications and how they might be used in rehabilitation.
3. Define the barriers for implementation.

This program is intended for Physicians and other clinical staff at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital.
