MEMO Module 1: The Current State of Healthcare Work Environments, Burnout vs Fatigue and Introduction of Gratitude
A “MEMO” is a 10-minute educational module that delivers clear, concise, relevant information to the learner using a computer, tablet, or mobile-phone for easy access.
The literature is filled with evidence that health care teams are burnt out, struggling, exhausted, and record numbers of workers are considering leaving the profession. Research has demonstrated the benefits of practicing gratitude on physical, psychological, and emotional health. The healthcare team needs exposure to what it means to practice gratitude and how it can positively impact individual and team health and wellbeing.
