The subtle and overt examples of racism and basic disregard of one another's humanness was so disturbing and brought tears to me eyes throughout.

Excellent presentation touching upon how racism permeates our work. The videos not only focused on how to identify different shades of racism but also laid out ways in which everyone should address them and improve the goals of our work by being more inclusive and imbibing the richness that diversity brings.

As we speak about racism, videos are one thing. Action is another. We must commit to measurable and sustainable change.

this information is exactly what we need in the work place. Our next step is to get all employees to comply; its easy to do an online training, but actions speak louder than words. Its time to go above and beyond to enforce the importance of this lesson.

Very unfortunate to know these stories originate from coworkers, but helps highlight how easily we can get caught up in these dynamics, regardless of our intentions.  I definitely have utilized coworkers knowledge of Spanish without ever thinking about how much more work they are doing in addition to their other duties when they take the time to help me communicate with my patients.
