Great course

I think this is a good training to inform employees about the great effect of the bystander effect.

Nachalie Rodriguez Cruz replied on

The scenarios were helpful to see things from various perspectives.

Alaka Ray replied on

The idea of micro aggression was good to consider. The snide, hurtful, back door comments can cause terrible feelings and undermine a person's self esteem and integrity. The course was quite valuable.

A good reminder to speak up when something's not right!

These videos were incredibly powerful in pointing out micro aggressions. We need to open our eyes to the everyday happenings regarding racism at our institution and work to correct them, starting with ourselves.

I agree with the training and feel it was well designed with different scenarios that are very capable of happening in todays world. The demonstrations on how to react and respond were helpful.

This was a really valuable course.

I sadly saw myself in some of the characters.

I really find the navigation of this course frustrating.

I would like to finish it.

I am 90 minutes into it and cannot seem to get out of it.

Perhaps some clearer instructions on navigation and some attention to how long it actually takes to go through it would make it less frustratong for others..

The video rang true - I have seen racism in our institution, although I didn't know about the ER video.  Women of color have lower breastfeeding rates and higher c-section rates than white women here.

This training was very well done. It was very engaging. I wasn't bored. I didn't have the urge to click through or let it play without paying attention.
