This was the best module I have seen on explaining racism in the hospital with common examples and convincing acting portraying different perspectives. The quality of this helps demonstrate the investment of leadership to make meaningful first steps towards ending racism. It makes me hopeful this module helps start these important conversations among my colleagues.

I think this course is very valuable and helpful to highlight the effects of institutional racism and how it may look differently across departments.

This was engaging to watch and I thought the acting was good.  Scenarios seemed a little too overt/obvious.  Subtler microaggression examples might make people more likely to recognize themselves as perpetrators.  However even as is it was thought provoking.

The scenarios in this course have resonated with real scenarios I have experienced as a Spanish speaking nurse. I am glad that the course makes everyone aware of translation services and the importance on not relying on a native speaker to translate.

Seeing some of these instances unfold from both white and non-white perspectives was a helpful contrast for me to see. I feel strongly that having been offered a non-white lens will improve my interpretation and subsequently my reaction to these incidences.
