This bystander education course will provide employees with an understanding of how interpersonal racism continues to support and maintain systemic racism. Through scenario-based learning, participants will develop skills for recognizing racial bias and confronting discrimination. An overview of related Human Resources policies and practices will be given to support employees in actively dismantling racism within Mass General Brigham.

Highly relevant scenarios,
Highly relevant scenarios, and instructive to also see examples of what went wrong rather than just being shown the preferred way of handling a situation. Really helps to cement the impact of mishandling or ignoring issues.

What stuck out to me the most
What stuck out to me the most was the although the doctor and the nurse were confronted about their behavior, it was going to take them some time to understand, because they have never had to experience things like these in their lives. Very eye opening to me because these are things that happen on a daily basis. I do think this should be a world wide training, but some will still not ever understand and never change.
