This bystander education course will provide employees with an understanding of how interpersonal racism continues to support and maintain systemic racism. Through scenario-based learning, participants will develop skills for recognizing racial bias and confronting discrimination. An overview of related Human Resources policies and practices will be given to support employees in actively dismantling racism within Mass General Brigham.

While racism is the more
While racism is the more visible and prominent aspect in discrimination, many other forms of "tribalism" are expressed in the workplace every day. I wish those aspects would be addressed as well.

I found this training to be
I found this training to be informative and engaging. I appreciated that real-life examples were used so that staff can recognize and put a stop to inappropriate behavior and situations. I think it is also helpful to know how to respond, as many people may feel that they don't know the right way or most effective way to come forward.
