This bystander education course will provide employees with an understanding of how interpersonal racism continues to support and maintain systemic racism. Through scenario-based learning, participants will develop skills for recognizing racial bias and confronting discrimination. An overview of related Human Resources policies and practices will be given to support employees in actively dismantling racism within Mass General Brigham.

well done
I enjoyed that the flow of the material was such that if you made a choice that wasn't the best choice for that scenario you got to see not only how your response played out but how the appropriate response also played out.

ending racism
This course helped raise awareness around what types of interactions are considered racism. Often, people do not realize unconscious stigma and beliefs based on race. This course increased consciousness of these biases, and may help to consider people as an individual rather than preconceived notions.

4 scenarios well done
The four scenarios represented the many differences we see each day. And we should respect and appreciate everyone's race, gender and cultural background that makes them unique. Thank you for this very helpful training.
