As a person of privilege, I appreciate how each of the scenarios took on a different perspective. I was able to feel more empathy for those who have dealt with micro aggressions, institutionalized racism, or racism. I am glad I was able to participate in this activity.

Though discussing racism can be uncomfortable, it is necessary for individuals to both empathize with their colleagues as well as advocate for individuals that endure microaggressions daily.

The videos were insightful and did help me see challenges from other people's points of view. You don't understand something as well as you do when it fully affects you. So being able to see 4 people who were complete opposites and how these small decisions can change everything is mind-altering.

I welcomed the opportunity to reflect on the role of racism in the workplace and in my clinical practice. I think it's hard to engage actively in a discussion board.
