This bystander education course will provide employees with an understanding of how interpersonal racism continues to support and maintain systemic racism. Through scenario-based learning, participants will develop skills for recognizing racial bias and confronting discrimination. An overview of related Human Resources policies and practices will be given to support employees in actively dismantling racism within Mass General Brigham.

Impressive
This was very well done! As a white guy, especially when the manager was reading "White Fragility", I felt the "it's an agenda"-reflex boil up. This is exactly why we need courses and incentives like this! Not to make (white) people feel guilty. To open eyes and hearts for something they have not seen and felt. Kudos! I copied and pasted this for my office wall from the course: "Maya Angelou said, "Do the best you can until you know better. When you know better, do better.""
Strong work!

Multiple Views
Appreciated the multiple views. Not sure how this is being applied at the top and hope that there are concrete efforts with leadership to address these issues, especially as the video emphasizes it starts at the top and trickles down to the rest of the institution and impacts patient care and access.
