The video was very helpful in showing the ways racism can occur in everyday life and some ways that they can be addressed.

I think it is important that we are presented scenarios to see things from another's perspective. Nicely put together.

This course was helpful in reviewing how circumstances may affect numerous members of the team that may not always go recognized.

I agree that this training was very helpful. It helped me to personally feel more empowered to speak up for myself in similar situations.

Very powerful - liked being able to see the different ways one might handle different situations,  Especially as a bystander

Christine Goodyear replied on

Well put together to identify different perspectives and illuminate how we can all be active participants in a just environment for ourselves, patients, colleagues, and communities.

Elaina Branco replied on

Very informative and beneficial training.

Cristal Romero replied on

I thought the training was great and I appreciated the different scenarios. I think it might be nice to include resources for how to address these situations logistically within our own organization: steps to consult HR (email, brainswave, etc.), repurcussions for patients/staff who continue to exercise racism, how to get involved in our own equity/united against racism committee.

Understanding your own underlying bias is extremely important, being able to recognize it in various situations. Continuing to be willing to learn and open to different perspectives, will allow more inclusive environment for our coworkers and patients.

This is very important in healthcare; to promote equity in our care of our patients.

It was great that this was told from multiple perspectives to see how people from different situations can experience or contribute to racism.

Kate Clomiro replied on

I thought this was a very good training. The four different perspectives gave multiple different stories to explore, and the interactive part helped to see what different actions would result in, and finding out what action would be the best for each specific situation. Very thought provoking.
